Daniella Tansey, age 87, of McHenry passed away peacefully April 14, 2025. Loving wife of the late Paul Tansey. Devoted mother to Denise (Jim) Berend and Paul Jr. (Judy) Tansey. Grandmother to Rhiannon Harkins, Willie Morales and Great Grandmother to Ethan and Gavin. Dear sister to Andrea (the late James) Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband Paul Tansey, parents Clyde and Genevieve Pokett, and her sister Jeannine Current. Dear friend to many. Daniella's love for baking filled the lives of her loved ones with many Christmas cookies, the taste of homemade fudge, and the rustic charm of sourdough bread. Her passions extended beyond the culinary arts, she was skilled in crocheting and made many blankets for loved ones. Later in life, she was an avid video gamer, with a particular fondness for the Adventures of Zelda. Daniella also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as feeding the squirrels in her garden and completing puzzles. As we bid farewell to Daniella, we celebrate her life and the countless ways she enriched our world. Rest in peace, We love you and we will never forget all the joy you brought to our hearts.
