David Zook Obituary

McHENRY – David James Zook, 72, of McHenry, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Arlington Rehabilitation Center in Long Grove.
He was born on Nov. 3, 1940, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Burtron and Margaret (Strathearn) Zook.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Vietnam War. He was a Loyola Academy alumni and was a computer programming consultant for many years.
Survivors include his sister, Margaret Zook of McHenry; his brother, Bruce Zook of Hoodsport, Wash.; a niece, Clover Zook; nephew, Burtron Zook; and great-nieces, Justice Meadors, Grace Zook and Emma Clonts. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services and interment will be private for the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
