Born: Sept. 18, 1959; in Elmhurst
Died: Aug. 27, 2014; in Woodstock
Dedra "Dee" Jane Bauman, age 54, of Marengo IL, formally of Lombard IL, passed away Wednesday, August 27th 2014, at Centegra hospital in Woodstock. She was born September 18th 1959, in Elmhurst to Robert and Beryl (Jackson) Cohn.
Dee worked at Paveloc and Marengo Family Restaurant. She was a homemaker, and a excellent cook and truly enjoyed her family and cooking for the neighborhood.
Dee will be missed by her three children Jacquelynn Bezik, Cameron (Michelle) Bauman, Mark (Kathryn) Bezik. Two grandchildren, Caden and Harper Bezik. Sisters, Glenna (the late Richard) McIntosh, Roberta (Gene) Solare. Niece, Nicole; nephews, Jimmy and Danny.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and sister Gail (Russel) Acton.
Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

I am sad to hear about Dee's passing. We were friends when she lived in Woodstock. She was in my wedding in 1986 and I was at her wedding when she married Lee. Life got busier and we lost touch years ago. So very sorry for your loss.

I am so sad to hear of Dee's passing.I feel heartbroken for Mark,Jackie,Cameron & all who loved Dee but could not help her.I pray her soul is at peace in the arms of Almighty God.I'm praying incessantly for your hearts to be healed.Remember the good,her smile,her laugh,her wit,most of all her deep love for you.

My friend Dee, rest in peace. I was trying to remember just how long we've known each other and the best I can tell is about 37 years. We met when you lived in your small apartment in Villa Park. Mark was in his jumper chair that you hung in the doorway. We had our girls 3 weeks apart. Liz in September and Jacquie in October. We were sisters-in-law for a short period of time (sorry I didn't listen to you) Girlfriend we have good memories, lots of fun times shared. I will remember the beautiful you..a Natalie Wood look-alike. Your love of family, your generous heart, and your bright smile. Till we meet again my friend. HEAVEN IS FOR REAL

Jackie and Mark, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. We always had such fun when you kids were little and especially when you lived so close. I particularly remember our trip up north over a 4th of July. Dee was always so vivacious and full of life. I was lucky to have known her at her best and I will remember the fun times, always.
