We graduated high school with Delores. She was such a sweet girl. Her smile was infectious and demeanor was very calm.
We are sure she will be missed by her family. May God bless all of you.

Delores was a beautiful person inside and outside. Delores made time to work and have fun with friends and family. She never complained but accepted what God placed before her. Chuck and I have so many happy memories of times shared with Tom and Delores. Karen Nauyalis Schwarz

Dear VanDaele Family,
On behalf of the Little Company of Mary School of Nursing, Class of 1972, please accept our deepest, most sincere condolences at the loss of classmate and friend Delores.
Some of us had the privilege of sharing "Dorm life" with her our freshman year before she married in 1970.
She was always friendly, great smile and also the smartest girl in our class all 3 years! Hence, the nickname "Dopey", which was bestowed on her with all respect and admiration for her abilities. Our class was noted for quite a few unique nicknames which still stand today.
But as time and distance will have it we unfortunately lost touch. But our class bond is deep to the core. She was one of us and we will continue to cherish all the special memories of her and those we've lost before her. We started out together as young women, new nurses, who have tried these past 48 years to make our own little worlds better places, as we're certain Delores did.
We truly mourn her passing------ losing one of our own.
With deepest sympathy ,
Karen ( Grabs) Petrancosta
