Edna Stuart Obituary
The visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, with the Rev. Lance Lackore officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Heights Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Congregational Church, 11628 Main St., Huntley.
Edna was born June 6, 1919, in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Martha Jepsen. She married Carl H. Stuart on Sept. 6, 1941. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sears. She enjoyed traveling, golf, playing bridge and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (David) Williams and Judy (Arthur) Strauss. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Phyllis (William) Siffermann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stuart.
