Estelle was born on November 3, 1936 to her Father, Jim Skluzacek, and mother, Eleanore Franek, in New Prague, Minnesota. She is the eldest of three, with brother Allan and wife Rosemary following along with Stanley Skluzacek who preceded Estelle in going to his eternal reward.
Estelle attended some college for secretarial skills, made a home in Illinois and had a wonderful career that she enjoyed tremendously. Her and her husband Robert Knoll were known for traveling frequently and were more often than not found polka dancing, square dancing, round dancing or any form of ballroom dancing.
After Robert's passing in 2018, Estelle relocated to Marietta, South Carolina residing next door to her daughter Darcy where she enjoyed the warmer weather. Estelle passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 89. She is survived by her three daughters, Nadine (fiancé Jeff), Renee (husband Tim), and Darcy (husband Richard). She also has 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home of Woodstock, Illinois from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, January 5, 2026, with Prayer Services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at McHenry County Memorial Park.
