Henry Colonna Obituary
He was born Oct. 2, 1929.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine I. nee Rabe for 54 beautiful years; devoted father of Donna (Albert) Ruhl and Karen (Marty) Petlicki; loving son of the late Peter and the late Evelyn, nee Gambelli, Colonna; fond grandfather of Jessica and Tiffany, Christopher and Matthew; dear brother of Vera (George) Schechtel; and a dear uncle and great-uncle to many.
The visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Salerno's-Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (three-quarters of a mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Family and friends will gather at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 23, for a one-hour viewing, immediately followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass celebration at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.

Henry has touched so many peoples lives with his kindness and love.He was a great man.We are blessed to have the opportunity to know him and shared many laughs with him. He will be deeply missed. Special thoughts and prayers to Karen,Donna and there families.

Henry will be dearly missed by all of us, especially by his long time buddy, Louie. In the past few years they've been able to get back in touch and have had some of the best visits, full of memories and a lot of laughs! Henry was such a giving person, and was always willing to help! Our love, heartfelt sympathies and thoughts are with both of you, Karen and Donna, and your families! Sending warm hugs to all of you!!!

Henry was a wonderful person and we're glad he was part of our lives. He is at peace, again with Lorraine, God and many loved ones. He will continue to watch over his family from above. Our sympathy is with you and may God give you the strength you need during this difficult time.
