Jacqueline A. Procaskey Obituary

WONDER LAKE – Jacqueline A. Procaskey, 75, a longtime resident of Wonder Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Unit.
She was born July 30, 1934, in Chicago, to the late Sheldon and Ruth Herring Brand. She married Herman "Buddy" Procaskey on Feb. 12, 1980, in McHenry. He preceded her in death.
She retired from Terra Cotta Brick Co. where she worked for several years in the office. She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in Wonder Lake. She also was a member of the Moose Lodge and McHenry Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing games of chance and was always happy to be surrounded by family and friends. An extremely generous person, she contributed to several charities.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Matthew) Cavalenes of Catlin; her son; Joshua Procaskey of McHenry; and her brother, Arthur (Virginia) Brand of Franklin Park. She also is survived by her stepdaughter, Jacqueline Ashmore of Wonder Lake and her stepson, Steve Procaskey of Channahon. She will be missed by her four grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Wegner of Indianapolis, Jennifer (Jim) Spice of Union, Chad (Lisa) Studer of Shorewood and Jason (Nicole) Studer of Crest Hill. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m Monday, March 22, at Nativity Lutheran Church, Wonder Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.
