Kathleen Eberhardt Obituary
Kathleen M. Eberhardt (Nee Lesko), age 80, passed away peacefully at home in Crystal Lake, IL on Friday, October 3, 2020 with her loving husband by her side.
Kathy was born and raised in Queens, New York, where she graduated from St. John University in 1961 with a degree in Elementary Education and later married Martin B. Eberhardt on Feb. 4, 1961 during a howling blizzard.
One of the greatest joys in Kathy's life was her 2nd graders at St. Thomas the Apostle - School, where she taught for 36 years.
Kathy is survived by her beloved Husband Martin B. Eberheardt; children, Barry (Robin) and Kevin (Karen); as well as grandchildren Ellis and Julia, Connor and Carter.

I was sorry to read today in the quarterly tribute section of the paper of Kathy's passing. I worked with her at the Currency Exchange for about a year. I came to love her storytelling ability, sense of humor, New York accent, wisdom, and so much more. I am also a parishioner at St. Thomas, and we knew many of the same people. For whatever reason, Kathy and I hit it off, and I came to admire her greatly. I am sorry for your loss.

Many memories of a wonderful lady, and dedicated teacher at St. Thomas! My own children had the priveledge of having her as a substitute at St. Thomas! Prayers for your family. ❤

I have known Mrs. Eberhardt since I was in 7th grade at St. Thomas. What a wonderful lady! So many memories. She will always have a special place in my heart. I wish to send Marty, Kevin and Barry big hugs! Miss you guys. Ellen Radovich

Lovely woman with a big heart. She was a legacy as a teacher. "Mrs. Coffee Pot" as the children sometimes called her. She will be remembered greatly..
