Katie has a beautiful soul and will be dearly missed by everyone who loved her. As a beacon of light, she walked the earth spreading her love and laughter. Katie had a strong connection to nature and a love for children. Katie was a loving daughter, sister, and auntie.
Katie is survived by her mother, Gayle Fassbinder, father, Jim (Lynne) Fassbinder, brother Eric (Jillian) Fassbinder, brother Jimmy Fassbinder who was her best friend, her long-time partner Michelle Banuelos, her dear niece Scarlett, nephews Ky, Monty, and Myles, a large family of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Katie at the Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple in Woodstock, IL on 3/25/2023 at 1-2pm
