Marlene Mohr Obituary

Marlene Mohr
Born: January 27, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI
Died: December 19, 2024 in Huntley, IL
Marlene Ann Mohr, 89, of Elkhart Lake, WI, passed away on December 19, 2024, in Huntley, IL.
Marlene was born January 27, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI to the late William and Lina Foell. On November 7, 1959 she was wed to Donald Mohr of Plymouth, WI. After Donald's passing in 2012, Marlene remained in Elkhart Lake until moving to Crystal Lake, IL, this past summer to be closer to her family.
Marlene is remembered for her endless optimism and her love for meeting and socializing with people. Her cheerful nature brightened the lives of those around her, and her memory and lessons in life, live on in her friends and family. She often said "a day at a time" which is how she lived her life until the end.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Shawna) Mohr and Ross (Leslie) Mohr; her grandchildren, Nichole (Brad) Bockholdt, Mitchell (Erin) Mohr, Jack Mohr, and Ava Mohr; and her great-grandchildren, Madison and Theodore Bockholdt and Weston Mohr.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her sister, Mildred.
A private family gathering will be held to honor her memory.
