Michael P. Wolf, age 70, of McHenry, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was the devoted husband of Sandra (née McHugh). The two were united in marriage on July 1, 1978, at St. Raymond's Cathedral in Joliet, Illinois, and shared a lifetime of love and commitment. He was a proud and loving father to four children: Kristina (Conor) Ward of Pleasant Prairie, WI; Karen N. (Donald W.) Dorsch of Oak Creek, WI; Kimberly (Will) Nusser of Johnsburg, IL; and Kevin (Allison) Wolf of Kenosha, WI. Mike was a cherished grandpa and "Papa" to Ben, Henry, Abby, Maddie, Leo, Landon, Livvy, and Lainey, all of whom brought him immense joy. He was a dear brother of John Wolf of Johnsburg, IL, and Jacqueline (Jeffrey) Thomas of Smithton, IL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Wolf. Mike was the loving son of Grace M. Wolf and the late Donald C. Wolf. A lifelong resident of Johnsburg, Mike was deeply committed to his community. He served as past president and a dedicated member of the District 12 School Board. Professionally, he worked for many years as the Chief Financial Officer of Paris Presents, Inc. Mike had a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing, and spent countless hours enjoying nature. He and Sandra also treasured their time in Tennessee, where they loved visiting the Smoky Mountains. Mike will be remembered for his devotion to family, his steady leadership, and his love of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial mass will be held Monday, April 13, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Church, 2302 W Church St, Johnsburg, IL at 10:00am.
