Pamela Knight Obituary

EAST WAKEFIELD, N. H. – Pamela Ann Knight, 64, of Chandler Lane, Pine River Pond in East Wakefield, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born May 6, 1948, in Portsmouth, the daughter of Robert and Eunice (Henderson) Harte, she was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Class of 1966, and a graduate of Westbrook Junior College, Class of 1968.
She resided in Boston, then Winter Park, Fla., and for 22 years resided in Crystal Lake, where she was employed as a Learning Center aide in District 47 Coventry School.
For the past 10 years, she enjoyed the dream house she designed on her dream pond – Pine River Pond – with her husband, Howie, and their four-legged friend Duke in East Wakefield.
Pam was a loving and caring person, always ready to volunteer to help those in need or to help people better themselves.
he served on the board of directors of the Wakefield Food Pantry, she did GED testing, served with Meals on Wheels and Wakefield Projects.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Howie Knight; their son, Kyle Knight of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Lynn and husband, David Beaver, of Newmarket, N.H.; brother, Carl and wife, Pat Harte, of Evans, Ga.; nephews and nieces, Tim and wife, Jacqueline, Beaver, Jamie Beaver, Stefanie Beaver and Linda Cash; and numerous cousins. She also was blessed with many good friends both in New Hampshire and Illinois.
The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Wakefield, N.H. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at First Congregational Church of Wakefield, 2718 Wakefield Road, Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Wakefield Food Pantry, the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
