Another important member of the O'Halleran family leaves us with wonderful memories of family reunions. There's a saying from St. Thomas More that seem fitting for Phyllis:
Pray for me as I will for thee that we may merrily meet in heaven.
My deepest sympathy to the family and my prayers as well.

If Real beauty is skin deep, Phyllis O'Halleran was the most beautiful woman our family had the privilege to know. She lived life with such joy, kindness, selflessness, a faith filled heart, and an endless love for us. My Mom for a time was a single parent raising 4 children on a shoestring budget. Phyllis was a true friend, who treated her with grace and dignity when she needed it most. All of us kids embraced her as our second Mom. Phyllis opened her heart, her home, and in even greater amounts she lived as an example of generosity and unconditional love. As my mother reminded me the memories we hold dearest are all those days that turned into months, that turned into years of our times together as family. "Death and love are the two wings that bear the good woman to heaven" upon her passing we are sure they materialized to fly her up to those who have made the journey before her, jubilant, and joyfully in reuniting again. Phyllis was an ordinary woman who did extrodinary things for so many, her love, and laughter will forever live on in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to all her family.

Phyllis was one of the sweetest bonus moms I ever knew. Always loving and welcoming. I am so grateful for her influence in my life, and for the love she and Jim showed me, and for my friendship with your family. O'Halleran family, Kathleen and Kevin, you are in my prayers, and I send you all my love and friendship.
