Ryan Wilson born February 17, 1984 in Elgin, son of Timothy and Gail Wilson ( nee Engholm.) passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in Hebron.
Ryan's family was everything to him and the thing he was the most proud of. Ryan's love for his wife Jenny and girls Anna, Abby and Sarah was unwavering, unconditional, and real. Ryan will be greatly missed by Jenny and the girls, his parents Tim and Gail Wilson; his brothers Chris Wilson and wife Lilly and Scott Wilson and wife Elle, his sister Julie Wilson, his childhood friend Jon O'Brien and so many extended family members and friends.
Ryan was faithful in all things. He worked hard, played hard, and loved fiercely. Ryan had the most generous heart, an unwavering solid man who lived everything in his life 110%. Ryan was a true visionary, a force of nature to be reckoned with, and always saw the bigger picture. He was passionate about leading his crew as he worked side by side with his "Band of Brothers" in the trenches. The family's prayer is that through the loss of Ryan, it be a call to many to come to know Christ and is a reminder that life is a precious gift from God.
The visitation for Ryan will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. at Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral home 1211 Seminary Ave. Woodstock, Illinois. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 312 Lincoln Ave. Woodstock, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to: Marian Central Financial Assistance Fund address is 1001 McHenry Ave Woodstock, IL, 60098. Or to access the fund online go to Marian.com-Quick Links- General Payments- Annual Fund- under student name list: Wilson Memorial Fund.
