Victor M. Acevedo, age 84, of Harvard IL, passed away on Thursday October 7, 2021, in Barrington IL. He was Born on December 12, 1936, in Puerto Rico to Irene Perez. Victor proudly served as a Merchant Marine who enjoyed many different hobbies and was a tinker of sorts. He had the gift of being very good with his hands and loved working with them. He spent his time fishing, grabbing whatever he could catch and doing puzzles. His greatest pleasure in life however was spending time with his family. Particularly his grandchildren. He was a proud grandfather and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Victor is survived by his children; Victor (Juliene) Acevedo, Dan Acevedo, Carrie (Randy) Westerman, Cheryl (Paul) Caluzinski, daughter in law Ann Acevedo, as well many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other cherished loved ones. He is Preceded in death by his beloved wife Donna Acevedo, his daughter Cynthia Acevedo, stepdaughter Linda Lodewyck-Zubeck, and his mother Irene Perez.
