William Louis Breytung, 92 of Lake in the Hills passed away on January 15, 2022 at Alden Estates of Huntley. He was Born November 25, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Herman and Sylvia Breytung. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Algonquin. William lived a life of service at the food pantry, homeless shelter, on church committees, and as a church usher.
He is survived by a brother James P. (Joyce Torok) Breytung of Algonquin, a nephew James S. (Barbara) Breytung of Delavan, WI, Nieces Sandra Breytung of St. Charles, IL and Paula (Jim) Clesen of Geneva,IL, Great-nieces Heather (Bryan) Hertz and Jordan and Heidi Clesen, Great-nephew Lucas (Anne) Breytung, Great-great nieces Emily Breytung and Kora Hertz, Great-great nephews James and Porter Breytung.
He preceded in death by his parents.
He was affectionately known to so many as "Uncle Bill" He lived a life of service-serving others, family, and friends, but most importantly his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Sunday School, Algonquin, IL Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel, 201 S.
