Agnes McDaniel Obituary

AGNES A. MCDANIEL VALPARAISO, IN Agnes A. McDaniel, 85, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008. She had lived in Valparaiso since 1990, coming from Lake Station. Agnes was born January 26, 1923 in Eagle Creek, IL to Thomas Franklin and Nora (Mitchell) Cowsert. She had been a bookkeeper at Redmac Body Shop in Glen Park. In November 1941 in Crown Point she married Howard Eugene McDaniel, who preceded her in death in 1989. Survivors include two children, Gary (Phyllis) McDaniel of Valparaiso and Janet (James) Macre of Akron, NY; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Charlie, William, Cecil, Carsel, Dawsey and Ezekiel; and one sister, Anna Mae. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso, with entombment at Graceland Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation Tuesday, 5-7 PM.
