Beautiful eyes, love the smile and GREAT sense of humor, a carpenter, creative thinker (created a pulley for us to raise our luggage and coolers at a beach house so we didn't have to carry it up the steps) , inventive, endless energy, dancer, kind, generous (let me drive his car!), believer...................just a few words to describe Al, a forever friend. God's peace to his precious family.

Al was a real pro at Republic Steel. He operated that storeroom like an employee who enjoyed his position. he knew where everything was, and his friendly smile brightened many of my days. Al, rest in peace. Ray Buchanan, Retired Elect. Supt.

Mr. Sawicki will always be considered a HERO for serving our country during a time when fighting for freedom was essential. You fought in what was considered the Forgotten War but you and your brothers-in-arms will never be forgotten. Thank you Sir for your bravery, courage and sacrifice. May God hold you in his loving arms. Rest in Peace.
