To the dear loved ones of Andy, and his many, many friends,
My heart and prayers go out to you all at this very sad time. Years ago I was Andy's hairdresser. During those years, Andy and I became friends. We shared stories with each other about our families, interests, hopes and dreams. Andy's children were his reason for being. He was SO grateful for the life that he had, that his children were happy and healthy, and that he maintained a close relationship with them always. He credited his dad for teaching him his strong work ethic and to always stand up for himself and what was right. He absolutely loved his job--especially seeing and visiting with the wonderful friends that he made on his routes over the years.
When he would speak of his dear Joan, his eyes would light up every time. He would always tell me how much fun they had together and how they enjoyed their times in Michigan, and most importantly, how much it meant to him that she was always so good with his children. In my heart of hearts I believe Joan was Andy's safe haven. He felt secure and loved which in turn made him a very happy man.
Andy brightened and touched many peoples lives each day. Job well done Andy! May God bless you for all the good you did while you were here.
With our deepest, deepest Sympathy,
Suzie and Jayce

My condolences to family and friends. Take time to grieve and celebrate a life well-lived. The loss of a loved one is truly difficult no matter how long we have them with us, but remember Almighty God promises to be near to all those calling on him (Psalm 145:18)
