We are passing through the Valparaiso area and I looked up to see where Anita is living so maybe we could stop and see her. Sad to see she passed away last year but happy she is with the Lord. My husband was Pastor in Hardy, Arkansas where she and Dan attended back in 2002-2006 when our 5 kids were little. I have thought about Anita so many times over the years and am touched by all she did for our family back then. She was my number one supporter as a young Mom and she loved our kids and they dearly loved her. She was involved weekly with our family and took our kids for ice cream at Mc Donald's. She took them for fun outings so I could have time to get other things done when I needed to. She brought groceries over and babysat when we had our 5th baby in the hospital. She helped our kids clean our home for me. She was like a grandma to them. Going over to her home, I could see all the projects and crafts she was doing for other kids in the community. She was always thinking of others, always serving and loving and encouraging. She read to our kids and helped them with school. I am sad we won't be able to visit her on our trip but am looking forward to thanking her once again for all she did for us and our children. Anita will have many treasures in heaven and I'm looking forward to seeing her and giving her a hug. Your family was blessed to have her.
