Remembering my Auntie Pookie as we approach her birthday. I miss her laugh, and twinkle in her eyes when she smiled. Sending hugs to all of my cousins.

Rest in peace Aunt Pookie. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
Sincere condolences to the family and others who knew her well enough to see this. Fond memories of our past family get togethers for holidays, graduations and weddings.
Sad news but pray that she's celebrating with her brothers and sisters in heaven.

It's interesting how we remember our relatives. I had five aunts in this family and one uncle and I remember all those who have passed away, very differently. My Aunt Pookie was always one to share a joke or a laugh. She had an infectious sense of humor that wasn't limited by gender, age or anything else. In fact, if she was being even the slightest bit naughty, she would get that glimmer in her eye like a child who knew he wasn't supposed to do something but did it anyway. I loved that about her. I know that she's in Heaven with her loved ones who went before her, having one big party! She's not in any pain any longer. She will be missed by a lot of us who loved her. Prayers and love to all those who are mourning her loss.

It's interesting how we remember our loved ones. While I had five aunts in this family and an uncle, I remember them all very differently. Aunt Pookie was always one who didn't care about how things looked, or what others thought. She always had a joke to tell or a laugh to share. She had an infectious sense of humor that wasn't limited by age, gender, or anything else. I have a lot of good memories as a child in her basement, having fun. I know that she's in Heaven with all of her loved ones who have gone before her, laughing and having a huge party where she's not in pain any more. My love and prayers to all who are grieving her loss.

Antie Pookie was always one to share a joke or a smile every time I'd see her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Prayers for the family that great memories will carry you through the saddest of times.
