Barbara J. Dal Santo

Barbara J. Dal Santo, nee Gawronski, age 87, of Dyer, IN, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Beloved wife of Sam A. Dal Santo. Loving mother of Gina (late Frederick) Schmidt, Daniel (Laura) Dal Santo, Steven (Kathi) Dal Santo, Robert (Monica) Dal Santo, and Anthony (Elena) Dal Santo. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Leona (late William) Campbell, late Mary Ann (late Joseph) Kaminski, and sister-in-law of the late Yolanda (late Anthony) Opyt. Preceded in death by her parents Leo and Sophie Gawronski.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet St., Dyer, IN. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Arrangements entrusted to Smits Funeral Home – Dyer, IN.
