Ben A. Doxtater

BEN A. DOXTATER Ben A. Doxtater, age 63, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart with his family by his side. He was born August 17, 1953 in Gary, Indiana to the late Ben and Mildred (nee Linnell) Doxtater. He was a retired Local 81 Laborer. Ben was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Ben will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. Ben is survived by his daughter, Kate Doxtater; four siblings: Margaret "Peggy" Klenk, Joan (Jim) Henson, Anthony "Tony" (Susan) Doxtater and Jean (Leon) Welp; many loving nieces and nephews, numerous childhood friends and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Warren "Bud" Doxtater, and nephew, Jeffery Henson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon Dennis Guernsey officiating, Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.
