Beth Paschal Obituary

BETH KATHRYN BRANTLEY PASCHAL LOS ANGELES, CA Beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend Beth Kathryn Brantley Paschal, 39, of Los Angeles, CA lost her battle to breast cancer on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Beth was born on April 3, 1976, in Crown Point, IN, to Cornell Brantley and Kathryn Jones Brantley. She graduated from Andrean High School in Merrillville, IN. She went on to graduate from Hampton University in Hampton, VA in 1998. Following school Beth moved to Washington, DC to pursue her passion for retail sales. She worked as a buyer for Hecht's Department store and went on to develop and manage multiple retail locations for the Smithsonian Institution. In 1999, she met Justin Paschal and after a six year courtship the two were married in Dyer, IN on August 20, 2005. In December of 2005 the couple moved from Washington, DC to New York, NY where Beth worked with fashion designer Max Azria. In 2009, Beth returned to the Washington DC area to allow her husband to work on the Virginia gubernatorial campaign of now Governor Terry McAuliffe and to focus on starting her family. After the birth of two beautiful boys the couple settled on the sunshine of Los Angeles, CA to raise their children. Beth was a beautiful person. She was best described as graceful, angelic and strong. She was a loyal friend, dedicated wife and an amazing mother. She made lasting friendships wherever she went as people were drawn to her smile and the personal warmth that she so easily projected. She will be missed by everyone who ever had the privilege to meet her. Beth is survived by her husband Justin; her two sons: Jonathan Cornell and Matthew Isaac; her parents Cornell and Kathy Brantley; her older brother Brandon (Michelle) Brantley; her grandmother Katie Jones; mother-in-law Janet Paschal; sister-in-law Janna Paschal; brother-in-law Jason Paschal, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services for Beth Paschal are as follows: Monday, November 23, 2015 at Saint Augustine's Episcopal Church, 2425 West 19th Avenue, Gary, IN with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers friends may visit: www.bethbrantleypaschal.org if you wish to make a contribution to the trust established for her two sons. Hinton & Williams Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Paschal and Brantley families during their time of loss.
