Betty Jean Przybysz Portage Betty Jean Przybysz, age 67, of Portage, IN passed away on October 17, 2004 at Porter Memorial Hospital. Betty was born in Appalachia, Virginia on June 18, 1937 to the late Richard and Bessie Wilder. Betty was a member of The Evangelical Covenant Church of Portage, IN, where she was active with the Covenant Women's Group, served as a Sunday School teacher, and participated with the Kid's Crafts and Bible School. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Przybysz, her parents, her two sisters Dorothy Henderson and Helen Fauver. Betty is survived by two children:Donald R. Pzybysz and Judy (Ken) Potts, both of Portge, IN; two grandchildren: Amanda and Crystal Potts; one great-grandson: Hayden Pepper; brothers and sisters, Bill (Rita) Wilder of Appalachia, Virginia, Nila (Thomas) Henderson of Portage, IN, Jack (Mary) Wilder of Appalachia, Virginia, Jim (Kaye) Wilder of Kentucky, Bob (Rose) Wilder of Portage, IN and Patricia Wilder of Burke, Virginia. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 11 AM at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, IN Pastor Carol Nordstrom officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage, IN.
