BILLY WAYNE HUGHES CEDAR LAKE, IN Billy Wayne Hughes, age 57, of Cedar Lake, passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting, fast cars, and mudding, but most of all, he loved to ride his Harley. Billy was a talented restorative/fabricator. He was able to see the completed project even before beginning. Billy was preceded in death by his parents: Adie and Beulah (nee Landers) Hughes; brothers: Curtis and Leonard; and sisters: Grace, Nellie, and Ruth. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Linda; two daughters: Paula Lynn Hughes of Cedar Lake and Crystal Marie Hughes (Charles) Mason of Hobart; one grandson, (papa's pride and joy) Brendan Michael Hughes, son of Paula; two brothers: O'Neil Hughes of Alabama and Steve (Sharon) Hughes of Wheatfield; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family of friends who all love him dearly. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
