HOUSTON, TX - Blanche "Nadine" Warren, 90 of Houston, TX, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born July 15, 1933, in Gary, IN to the late Raymond and Marie (Wilmot) Gordon. Nadine made her career as a baker with Kroger, and later as a demo worker at Sam's Club. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, traveling with her husband, and spending quality time with her beloved family and friends. Sharing a cup of coffee and good conversation with the ones she loved was time well spent for Nadine. She often looked forward to hosting gatherings with family and friends in her home.
On September 1, 1951, in Yuma, AZ, Nadine married Byron "Bob" Warren, who preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by their daughters: Pamela Warren of Houston, TX and Lynn (Gust) Woldtvedt of League City, TX; grandchildren: Jimmy, Kimberly, Eric, Allie, Drew, Adam, and Autumn; great-grandchildren, Blake, Kyle, Tyler, and Luke; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, four brothers, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at MOELLER FUNERAL HOME, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Mosier Cemetery, Valparaiso. Memorial donations may be made to Vantage Hospice, 5718 Westheimer Road, Suite 1650, Houston, TX 77057.
