BONNIE J. ZUBER (NEE CRUM) VALPARAISO, IN
Bonnie J. Zuber, age 79, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Life Care Center, Valparaiso. She was born in Valparaiso on April 30, 1931 to the late William Crum and Mabel (nee Peck) Porch. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Valparaiso, member of Valparaiso Women of the Moose Chapter 437, and former employee of Hal Heuring Chevrolet and Cadillac. Bonnie is survived by son, Tim (Nancy) Zuber of Valparaiso; daughter, Julie Keith of Valparaiso; grandchildren: David and Jake Keith, and Natalie and Ryan Zuber; sister-in-law, Lila Highlan of Valparaiso; and nephews: Rick (Alice) Flitter of Valparaiso and Chuck Flitter of Maryland. Preceded in death by husband, Otto E. Zuber; twin sister, Joan Flitter; and brothers: Ronnie and Ralph Highlan. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Dykes Funeral Home, 2305 N. Campbell St., Valparaiso, IN with Rev. Craig Forwalter officiating. Burial, Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends may call at the Dykes Funeral Home on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a service from Valparaiso Women of the Moose Chapter 437 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Valparaiso Moose Lodge 1357.
