Brad McKendrick Memoriam

In Loving Memory Of Bradley Christopher McKendrick May 15, 1969 - January 15, 2006 How many times my mom and grandmother would say "A daughter is a daughter the rest of her llife a son is a son till he takes a wife". I never realized when I held you in my arms and looked into that sweet angelic face how true a statement that would be, for once you left us and went to Holland to marry...I would only see you one more time. I miss you more than you could have ever imagined. On this Mother's Day and the day before you 37th birthday I feel I am no longer a complete mother. I know that I will not get a call from you today to wish me a Happy Mother's Day, and I know that I cannot kid you about being "37 years old" and don't you think it is time to cut your hair. It never occured to me when we celebrated your 35th at the Medieval Times and had atomic cake that would be our last celebration together much less our last visit. I know we had a wonderful time and we laughed at your getting in "free" because you were the birthday boy. It makes me happy to know that you wanted to relive a fun time from your past. You are the last thing I think about when I put my head on the pillow at night and my first thought when I awake. I hope you hear me when I am talking to you as I am driving. I will never be able to make sense of any of this but pray that you are happy and safe with the Lord and that we will one day be together again. I need so much to feel my "baby boy". Until then you will be in my heart every moment of every day. Happy 37th Birthday sweetheart and I hope that you are "rocking and making music" with the angels. My Eternal Love, Mom
