CHARLES JOSEPH EICH OLYMPIA FIELDS, IL Charles Joseph Eich, 69, of Olympia Fields, IL died May 13, 2008 at Palos Community Hospital. Born March 14, 1939 in Chicago, IL. Loving father of Charles Jr. (Irene), Ron, Christine and late Robert Eich (1965); grandfather of Erica and Charles III; brother of Marlene Malic; special friend to Sharon Mazurek. Charles was owner of C. Eich Trucking & Excavating and longtime member Local 150 Operating Engineers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street (Dixie Hwy.), Crete, IL 60417. Entombment Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Visitation Friday, May 16, 2008 from 3:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. (708) 672-7600.
