to the wilhight family - may God be with you in your hour of sorrow. I know Clara would have been happy with the home-going celebration. I'm going to miss my two hour phone conversations we would have. God needed another choir member for his heavenly choir and he chose your mom Clare. May God continue to bless you all.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the Wilhight Sons: Stay strong. God is with you all.
Psalm 23
A Psalm of David.
1 THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.(A)
3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.
4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with [a]oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

To The Wilhight Family My deepest sympathy. Just wanting you to know there is hope of seeing our love ones again there at John 5:28, 29 Jesus said Do not marvel at this all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. We all look forward to that day. May the God of comfort Jehovah be with your family. At revelation 21:4 He promises to wipe out every tear for your eyes and death will be no more I hope these scriptures help to ease your sorrow at this time. To The Entire Family of Clara Wilhight, and especially, "Louie".
As a child growing up across the street from the Wilhights, and attending school and graduating with Louie, please know that some of my fongest memories are of crossing the streets of Eaton to come over and be "entertained" by the colorful and wise Skeet and Clara Wilhight.
I can not imagine your pain, but I do know and take solace in the fact that "time heals all wounds". Lean on each other and those who positively support you and take each and every day as it comes because, "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift, and that is why it is called "The Present" Unknown Author.
