Clarence Miller Obituary
Clarence K. "Ken" Miller, age 74, of Lake Station, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. Ken was a longtime Lake Station resident and Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a retired supervisor with U.S. Steel Sheet & Tin Mill in Gary. Ken loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Ken is survived by two sons: Gilbert "Gil" (Marilyn) Miller of Cookeville, TN and Daniel (Maureen) Miller of Lake Station; one daughter, Kendee Rebeck of Portage; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three sisters: W. Jean (Charles) Foust of Lake City, TN, Dorothy Chester of Carlsbad, NM and Juanita Adamson of Eads, TN; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores M. Miller; son, Clarence M. "Chip" Miller; and sister, Wanda Miller. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel; 219-762-3013 or online: www.reesfuneralhomes.com

To the family of Mr. Clarence K. Miller,
Mr. Miller and my father, Early Caldwell, Jr. were very good friends. I will always remember my father reading the letters he received when Mr. Miller moved back to Tennessee and the pleasure he got from hearing from his friend. They are now fishing and hunting together in heaven.
