CLYDE EUGENE BARTOCK DEMOTTE, IN
Clyde EugeneBartock, age 89 of DeMotte, IN, passed away on October 23, 2016. He was born in East Chicago, IN and a graduate of East Chicago Washington H.S. class of 1945. Clyde was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the 6th Army and a member of the American Legion Post 369. He retired from E.I.Dupont 25 year club. He was a Chicago Cub and Indiana University Basketball Super Fan and enjoyed crafting model airplanes, fishing, duck hunting and socializing with his abundance of friends. He attended Faith United Church of Christ in Hammond. Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M. Bartock (nee Anderson); daughter, Rebecca Bartock; parents, Nick and Ruth A. Bartock (nee Havengar). He is survived by his loving children: Elizabeth (Ramiro) Villarreal, Terry Cummins, Craig Bartock, Claudia (Ed) Wilson; grandchildren: Ashley (Will) Fedanzo, Jennifer King, Chris Wilson; great-granddaughter, Mia Fedanzo; loyal, loving friend, Vickie Quandt (Beau). May God bless all of Clyde's friends who have been a defining, important bright spot in his life. We are all a piece of the pie that made his life complete. Friends may visit with Clyde's family on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Eulogy at 6 p.m. given by daughter, prayer by Kyle Veld, at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
