Dale Righter Obituary

DALE A. RIGHTER MERRILLVILLE, IN
Dale A. Righter, age 65, of Merrillville, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008. Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Army-Vietnam Conflict. He was an employee of Mittal Steel (formerly LTV Steel). Dale was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Dale was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Muriel Righter; and his brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Jean M. Righter of Lansing, IL; two children: David (Gina) Righter of Valparaiso and Joseph (LeeAnn) Righter of Crown Point; seven grandchildren: Airman 1st Class Matthew Righter of Kuwait, Jordan, Alexandra, Taylor, Cole, Madison and Kane Righter; sister-in-law, Janine Righter and her family of Beecher, IL. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Cremation at the Burns Funeral Crematory will precede the memorial visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. www.burnsfuneral.com

To the family of Dale, I would like express my deepest sympathy and regret of not being able to attend his visitation. I have worked with Dale at # 3 s.m. for many years and he was a great roller on the T.M. I will miss our quips about what "company we would work for next".
