Words cannot say how you will be missed, my sister, Diane. How brave you were as you fought to get well. Who else but sisters could share three hour phone conversations and at the end, not really know where the time went. Our days in Chicago when we were young, the times when we first came to Indiana, and how we so often said no matter how many miles apart, that we always felt close. I feel close to you today, Diane, and no matter the distance that life brings, I will always love you my beloved sister. Patty

Diane, you were a true friend. You always had a kind word. You're heart was filled with so much love for so many people. Not for just your family, but also for your Walmart family. I will miss your smile, hugs, our conversations and especially your laugh. I have a lot of great memories and I will keep them tucked away in my heart. I am glad I got to know you and am proud to call you my friend. This is not a goodbye because I know that I will see you again someday.
To Jerry and his family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Be strong and know that Diane is at peace now.
