Edeliz Feliciano Obituary

Edeliz Feliciano East Chicago Edeliz Feliciano, age 75, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2003 at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, Indiana. Survivors include her husband Galo of East Chicago. sons, Enrique (Cynthia) and Ferdinand (Karen), both of Hammond, Wilfredo (Lupita) and Jose (Katherine) Feliciano, both of East Chicago. Daughters, Mitalia (Ray) Clarke of Minnesota, Luz Edeliz (late Jose) Rivera and Maria Craig Elliott of Gary and Santa T. Feliciano of East Chicago. Grandchildren, Enrique Chinito, late DeAngelo, Melissa, late Fernanda, India, Josephine, Tina Serina, Michael, Jose Jr., Galo, Ricardo, Javier, Edeliz M., Victor, Edwin, Jose Luis, Madalyn, Eddie, Aisha, Natasha, Adrian III, Julian and Victoria. Great-grandchildren, D'Angelo, Madilette, Cierra, Exton, Michael Andrew, Nia Elizabeth, Aleesha, late Maria Edeliz, Desmian, Andre, Israel Jose, Isaiah Jose, Esence, Imaria. Numerous nieces and nephews. Brother, Luis (Betty) Troche of New York and sisters Terresa, Mijon, Clara and Sofia Troche, all of Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by parents Frederico and Christima and brothers, Tito and Pipo. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. from the Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm St., East Chicago, IN, and 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in East Chicago, with the Rev. Fernando DeCristabol officiating. Burial, Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN. Visitation on Tuesday, September 2nd, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Feliciano was a long time resident of East Chicago, and was born in Puerto Rico. She graciously devoted her life to her husband and children.

You have my deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace. Although I didnt really know her, I only met her once, but I knew only a few of her children, and judging from them she instilled in them love, honor, respect and a beautiful personality, they are special in their own ways.I know, from that, that she was a great mother and very strong willed. They dont make mothers like that anymore...and to the family, be strong and remember the good times, may she live forever in your hearts and mind.For as long as the memory of her lives there, she lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. (By the way, im Jesus sister). Take care and God Bless you all.
