EDITH OLIVE CLAIRE LANGLOIS (NEE GREGORY) GRIFFITH, IN Edith Olive Claire Langlois, age 82, of Griffith, IN, formerly of Highland, IN, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007. She is survived by her two daughters: Janet E. (Steve) Frein of New Hampshire and Katharine L. (Allen) Gillespie of Griffith, IN; brother John R. (June) Gregory of Ontario, Canada; sister Frances S. (Jim) Partridge of Alberta, Canada; five grandchildren: Helen Stewart of Hawaii, Philip Langlois of California, Robert Pilarczyk of Oklahoma, Scott Pilarczyk of Illinois and Nathan Frein of Maine; three great-grandchildren: Mahina Cross, Malia Cross and Saeya Frein. Mrs. Langlois was preceded in death by her husband, Roland E. Langlois; son David R. Langlois; parents: Fred A. Gregory and Olive Booth Gregory (nee Hare); sister Mary E. Moffat. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. with the Reverend Steven L. Schuneman officiating. Cremation preceded the service. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Langlois was a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church of Griffith, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edith's loving memory to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
