Edmund Fischer

Edmund E. Fischer Lowell Edmund E. Fischer, age 94, of the Lake Dalecarlia area of Lowell, IN, formerly of Oak Lawn, IL, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. He is survived by three children: Janet (Joseph) Orr of Valparaiso, IN, Edmund "Buz" (Karen) Fischer of Ocala, FL and Michael (Karen) Fischer of Oak Park, IL; seven grandchildren: Todd (Terri) Orr, Scott (Katherine) Orr, Caitlin and Adam Fischer, Joseph, Matthew and Caroline Fischer; five great-grandchildren: Kathryn, Tyler and Cooper Orr, Mckenna Orr and Slayden Joseph Fischer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Gladys; one daughter, Karen; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sheets Funeral Home, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN. Pastor Keith Rickert and Dennis Shipley officiating. Burial will follow at Lowell Memorial Cemetery in Lowell. Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Edmund was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and a member of Lake Dalecarlia Bible Church.
