EILEEN L. O'REILLY HAMMOND, IN
Eileen L. O'Reilly, age 82, of Hammond, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014. Beloved wife for more than 60 years to the late Michael P. O'Reilly, Sr. Loving mother of Michael P. (Jeanne) O'Reilly, Jr., Louise Williams, Susan O'Reilly- Avery, Pam (Lino) Rios, and Patricia (Stanley) Calhoun. Devoted sister of Harriet "Dolly" Sellers, Allen Taylor, and Don Taylor. Proud Nani of approximately 23 grandchildren; and approximately 54 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen "Bunny"; and siblings: Richard Taylor and Joan Price. Eileen was a lifelong Cubs fan. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, baseball, dart-ball, and skating. She was a talented artist, an avid reader, and lover and supporter of education. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond. Funeral services Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Daniel Hendon of Hoffman Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment at Concordia Cemetery.
