Ethel "Tippy" Walesh

Ethel "Tippy" Walesh Ethel "Tippy" Walesh, age 90, formerly of Two Rivers, WI, currently residing in Valparaiso, IN, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in Valparaiso, surrounded by family members. Ethel was born December 25, 1916 in Reesville, WI. On April 30, 1938, she was married to the late George L. Walesh. The couple owned and operated Walesh Meat Market in Two Rivers for 20 years. Mrs. Walesh was a lifelong member of St. Johns' Lutheran Church and active in the church's Ladies Society and the "meals on wheels" program. She was also a longtime member of the Two Rivers Lioness Club. Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Stu and Jerrie Walesh of Valparaiso, IN and Englewood, FL; Sid Walesh of Hypoluxo Island, FL; a niece Penny Merrill of Indian Wells, CA; five grandchildren: Kim (Steve) Polcyn of San Jose, CA, Eric (Jill) Walesh of Naperville, IL, Brian (Karen) Walesh of Orlando, FL, Jill (Doug) Walls of Valparaiso, IN and Jason (Patricia) Walesh of Austell GA; six great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Jenna Walesh of Naperville, IL, Evan and Colin Walesh of Valparaiso, IN and Jackson and Ashley Walesh of Orlando, FL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 9153 N. Meridian St. - B4, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4102 or Visiting Nurse Association/Hospice, 501 Marquette St., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
