Eugene H. Ahlgrim, age 72 late of Crown Point, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Longtime loving companion of Theresa Nowacki. Loving son of the late Walter "Kidder" & late Trilla Ahlgrim. Dear brother of Elaine (Joseph) O'Dea & late Myron "Ike" (Mary) Ahlgrim. Fond uncle of Cathie (Barry) Tauber, Debbie (Rob) Longfellow, Tom O'Dea, Gail Guerrero, Mike O'Dea, Barb O'Dea & Linda O'Dea. U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Member of American Legion Post #20 Crown Point, IN. Retired employee of NIPSCO. Visitation Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 West 97th Lane (1/2 block west of U.S. 41 / Wicker Ave. at 97th Street) St. John, IN.
