Dad, today brings memories from your birthday last year. You were happy to be surrounded by all of us eating your seafood and your beer, but at the same time wishing that all your pains were over, so God granted your wish. I know Mom along with the Angels are singing to you, and that moment hurts so much because we are out of sight. You were so ready to go and meet the Lord; so He opened the door to follow your next step where there's no more pain and tears of sadness, just eternal love. My family and I can't take the pain away, nor can we hug and kiss you, but Mom please do the honors for us.
