May 22, 1937 - October 15, 2024
Fred was the love of my life and husband of 57 years, and he completed life's journey on October 15, 2024, after losing a long battle with an aging heart.
Fred retired from AT&T in 1999, allowing us many years of pure joy travelling the world. He had many loves: his family, his church family, travel, golf, photography, all creatures (great and small) and the natural wonders of Mother Earth.
Surviving are his wife Barbara; sons: Tim (Danielle), and Andy; brother-in-law, John Yurtanas; sister-in-law, Betsy (Don) Glasson; nephews: John (Eva) Medved, Fred (Flo) Luckey; nieces: Nancy (Tom) Mannett, Sandy (Rick) Connolly, Patti (Christian) Moneyhon and last but not least, his 19th hole golf buddies.
There will be a private scattering of ashes in the woods he loved. There will be no public memorial. In lieu of any memorial donations, please just remember Fred as the gentle and kindhearted man he was.
