September 7, 1952 - July 29, 2024
Frederick R. Redell late of Calumet City formerly of Burnham, IL, passed away surrounded by family and friends. Freddy was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sister Marilyn (late Joe) Bembenek, many nieces, nephews, dear friends and his fur baby Tre. Freddy was preceded in death by his parents Frederick T. Redell and Helen E. Redell and siblings John (late Nancy) Redell, Tony (Linda) Redell, Darlene (Gerald) Hunter and Helene (Richard) Hoffman.
Freddy dedicated his life to improving the quality of life of others. His heart was gold, and his intention was to change the world for the better. Freddy served his community as a Thornton Township Trustee for four years and then as the Supervisor for eight years. He was a proud Democrat and worked for years to encourage and promote others to serve.
Freddy was an avid Chicago White Sox Fan. He had a passion for dogs whom he loved dearly. To honor his memory please support a local animal rescue and/or perform an act of kindness towards a fellow human being.
A Celebration of Life is being held on his birthday, September 7, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Waterfront Bar and Grill in Burnham, IL.

Freddy was a wonderful extraordinary person and an awesome attorney! He loved all people with respect especially the seniors and special needs ! I remember his kindness to all especially my late Mom who loved him like a son ! His parents and Siblings were super too! Requiem in Pace my friend

Fred was my first boss when I got out of college. He taught me to believe in myself and to be confident. He pushed me to do more than I thought I could. He had a zest for life like no other. He will truely be missed. This picture was taken at my 30th birthday party
