Gary Procknow Obituary

GARY PROCKNOW CROWN POINT, IN Gary Procknow age 76, passed away peacefully Friday, October 21, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Sheila; children: Pam (John) Kuras, Joseph Procknow and Jeffrey Procknow; granddaughters: Aubrette and Paige Biegel, and Serena and Lindsey Procknow; siblings: Noreita (Claude) Carriere, Richard (Shirley) Procknow, Stuart Procknow, Karen (Jim) Peck, and Debbie Procknow; many nieces, especially Kathy Raica and her family; nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by parents: Grant and Dorothy Procknow; and aunts: Esther Procknow and Martha Procknow. Gary retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons with 42 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, papa and a dear friend to many. Above all, Gary enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services are to be held privately by the family. Donations may be made in Gary's memory to Fresenius Medical Care 857 W. Burrell Drive Crown Point, IN 46307. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Gary. I worked with him for 34 of his 42 years at Donnelley. He was a great guy to work with. He will be greatly missed.
