Jacob Tuinstra Obituary

Jacob Tuinstra Lansing, IL Jacob Tuinstra, age 87 of Lansing, IL passed away Monday, February 6, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Sue (nee Regnerus); four sons: Peter (Nancy), James (Dora Mae), Raymond, Ronald (Ruthann); four daughters: Grace (George) Brouwer, Linda Moosmiller, Mary (Larry) Klaaren, Lisa (Larry) Iwema; loving grandfather to 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; one brother, Charles (Bertha); one sister, Greta (late Joseph) Beigel. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Sadie Tuinstra; brothers: Fred (Clasina) and Harry (Louise); one grandson, Kevin Jacob Moosmiller. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 11:00 am the First Christian Reformed Church, 3642 Lake St., Lansing, IL ,with Pastor Philip Stel officiating, to Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery, Oaklawn, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 2-9 pm at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing IL. Jacob was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing and especially wood carving. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Pass Organization. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
