Jacob Weber Obituary
Jacob William Weber, age 66, of Dyer, IN passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Beloved husband of Maureen Weber (nee Duggan); loving father of Sean (Lori) Weber, Paula (James) Pappas, and Joseph Weber; proud grandfather of Rylie Weber, Tristan, Tabitha, Trina, and Ty Pappas, Jasmine, Domonic, Seth, and Blake Weber; dear brother of Keith Weber, Ann (Carl) Miller, the late Edward (Barbara) Weber, Larry (Patricia) Weber and Linda (Robert Sr.) Aprill; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Jacob and Winifred Weber; and granddaughter, Samantha Pappas. Mr. Weber was a US Marine Corp Sergeant. Longtime member of American Legion Griffith Post 66; held many offices at Post and District level, was Past Chef de Gare for 40 & 8; held local and state offices for Sons of the American Legion. Visitation Friday, January 20, 2012 from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM with Legion Services being held at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 and Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311.
