Jimmy will be missed. He was wise and knowledgeable on MOST anything you asked him, always had a story to tell, more than likely with a meaning and lesson behind it. Im proud to say he was part of my family. Jimmy was a strong representation of what it ment to be a man. He would give you the shirt off his own back if it helped you. His loss is felt and he will be missed, but he will not be forgotten.

My heart breaks for Jim's family and friends. Jim was such a great friend to my parents Ray and Lisa, and I am so happy I got to see him when I came to visit my parents recently. I will always remember seeing "Santa" riding that motorcycle on Christmas. Rest easy Jim, you will be missed

I will always remember Jim's smile. He had a such a great smile that went all the way to his eyes. I will always have a fond memory of his saying "hey kid" whenever he would see me as I was in my late teens when I first met him. He was a wonderful guy and if I was ever home during some Crown Point festival I would look for Jim and his mom and make sure I said hello. Jim and the entire Graden family hold a special place in my heart and my condolences to the entire family. Jim was a sweetheart and heaven gained an angel. I am sure he is up in heaven having a drink with his dad and Skip.

Jimmy, you truly were (are) one of the good guys! I enjoyed chatting with you whenever I was visiting my brother Todd. I have awesome memories of my brother and I hanging out with you and the gang in the late 80s before I moved to CA. Thank you for being such a close and sincere friend to my brother! I hope you are finally taking it easy in Heaven and reconnecting with the friends we'd already lost. Heaven sure gained an incredible angel this week; I just wish we could still have you here with us! XO

Oh, Jim!!! Last week when we talked, I told you that next year we would have been friends for 50 years. I really thought that would come true! I guess I will just be one of the happiest girls to have had such a good friend as Jim for 49 years! Ride high in heaven, my friend! Until we see each other again, Bonnie

The first time I met Jimmy I couldn't look at him - those blue, blue eyes! Talk about make a girl swoon...but, Jim was so much more than that. He was a kind, caring, giving, and protective friend. He helped me pick out my first motorcycle, he taught me how to ride safely, and he always looked out for me and kept me safe (on and off the road.) I'll keep my promise, Jim...

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He and I spent many hours working on cars and getting in trouble in CP. The 62 Lemans, the GTO , and my crappy 63 chevy. And the tree house in Sauremans woods. January snowball fights in convertible with the top down. What a great guy. Will be doing a rosary for you with my church group.

I was so sad today to learn that Jim Graden had passed.

Torey and Rebel, your dad was one of my favorite guys in the whole world. One of the nicest persons I've ever met. I'm so glad I got to see him at my grandmother's birthday party less than two months ago. He always had a smile on his face and a big hug waiting to happen. Jim was so kind to our family over the years. I'm really going to miss seeing him whenever I go back to Crown Point for visits. My deepest condolences to all of Jim's family.

Love,
Robin (Scheidt) Gratsch
