James Kristek Obituary
James Edward Kristek, 50, of LaCrosse, WI, formerly of Whiting, IN, passed away June 15, 2011. "Jim" was the sixth of seven children born to parents Stephen M. Kristek and Harla J. Kristek. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen. Jim is survived by his mother, Harla J. Kristek of Crown Point, IN, his wife of 20 years, Vicki Kristek of La Crosse, WI; his loving daughters: Jessica Kristek and Tyler Kristek, also of La Crosse, WI, and Heidi Kristek of Ellijay, GA . Jim was also the beloved brother of Stephen Kristek of Mountain Home, AR, Robert (Tina) Kristek of Valparaiso, IN, Michael (Pam) Kristek of Crown Point, IN, Jeanne (Paul) Fowler of Westville, IN, Joan (Ron) O’Drobinak of Ogden Dunes, IN, and Judy (Mark) Henricy of Crown Point, IN. He was a special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews as well. Jim truly enjoyed the outdoors, counting cycling with daughter Tyler, fishing with daughter Jessica, camping, and outdoor grilling as some of his favorite things to do. He was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for many years and served his country in the United States Navy. A private memorial service is being planned for the near future in Indiana.
